Our primary flying site is at the General Shafter School located at 1855 Shafter Road, Bakersfield, CA. The location is near State Route 99 and Houghton Road. Club members fly here most Saturday and Sundays beginning at about 8:30 AM. On contest days (see calendar) flying begins at 9:00 during daylight savings time and at 10:00 AM during winter hours.
We have an alternate flying site that is used on Wednesday mornings starting at about 9:00 AM. The location is the Rosedale Bible Church, located at 16000 Rosedale Highway, Bakersfield, CA.
